Graduates earn 3,134 degrees, certificates from North Dakota State University-Main Campus


About 16.6 percent of the 3,134 degrees and certificates handed out by North Dakota State University-Main Campus in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Fargo conferred 388 bachelor's degrees and 105 doctor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 208 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 154 bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering and 134 bachelor's degrees in general human development and family studies.

The university enrolled 14,358 students for 2017-18, including 11,984 in undergraduate programs and 2,374 in graduate programs.
