Cost of college went up for all students at Lake Region State College


Tuition and fees rose 3.2 percent for 2018-19 at Lake Region State College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

North Dakota students paid $4,475 to attend the two-year public institution this year – $139 more than the $4,336 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 91 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 167 students received grants or scholarships totaling $744,562 and 105 students took out student loans totaling more than $612,741.

Including all undergraduates (2,072), 484 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.2 million, and 323 students took out $1.8 million in federal student loans.
